Pluto

This is definitely my favourite dress right now. So much so I wore it twice this week. The only difference is shoes and tights - but really you can't see much of that in today's early morning Pluto shot anyway.

The hat was a recent high street purchase made on an unusually hot morning when I felt I really needed some shade. Right now. I ended up trying on tons of these but it took me a while to find one the right size. One size fits all. Ha.

The plants in the last pictures are little Aloe. Their juice is great for burns, but these have to grow a little first.

Dress: Tara Starlet
Cream shoes: Vintage K's
Red Sandals: Some airport shop years ago
Hat: Primark

  6. Hi Chelsea,
The bike is my primary means of transport. I should probably take some photos around town some time. Cambridge is like Amsterdam when it comes to bikes. They're everywhere and lots of people ride old ones. They get stolen all the time too. Bicycle theft is the only crime statistic of note round here. I had a gorgeous 30s ladies Falcon for three days some years ago although most my bikes stuck around for a couple of years or more. Mind you, nobody seems to want this one *knock on wood* It is a Setico from a place that does up abandoned bikes. Probably fished from the river ;-)

  7. Amanda, the creepily potted plant (I am forever surprised my Other Half will put up with this sort of thing) nearly got washed away by the rain last year. If you like aloe you should find it easy to get a hold of another one. LOL People are always trying to pass little ones on. They are rabbits of the plant world. :-)

  11. that is a sweet and pretty dress. i adore straw hats with ribbon trims. your light-colored t-straps are so cool. i just started branching out into lighter colored shoes recently. i want a bicycle like that with the wicker basket. and that doll head as planter is something else! i really get a kick out of strange and beautiful items like this, with a touch of creepy-cute thrown in.
